LEWISTON — Merrill T. “Bud” Currie Jr., 62, of Turner, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Lewiston on December 21, 1948. He was married on February 3, 1968, to Susan Mathieu at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. In the past he had worked for International Union of Operating Engineers Local 98 B and Millwrights Union 1996. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who served as a registered Maine Guide in the Rangeley-Eustis area.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan, of Turner; two sons, Sean and his wife Alison of Monmouth and Eric and his wife Donna of Minot; a daughter, Kristin Boulay and her husband Brian of Minot; and three grandchildren, Maegan, Amber and Conner. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Merrill T. Currie Sr.
