AUBURN — Richard J. Michaud, 62, died on March 20, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston, March 4, 1949, son of Jean and Irene Michaud. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1967, and married Maria Lobozzo on June 6, 1970.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years and five loving daughters, Michelle and husband, Josh Dwinnell, Amy Brindley, Nikki and husband, Natron Carrier, Jenna and husband, Matt Edson and Emilee and husband, Ngoni Ditima; seven grandchildren; his mother; and four siblings.

He was predeceased by his father.
