LAWRENCE, Mass. — Dean R. Frieze of York, formerly of Newton, Mass., and North Berwick, died on Thursday, March 24.

He was the devoted husband of Sylvia (Baker); beloved father of Jane Frieze, Karen Frieze and the late Mark Frieze; beloved stepfather of Andrew and Nancy Frieze and Jonathan and Christine Frieze; loving grandfather of Elizabeth and Matthew Prasse, Katie Frieze, Julia Frieze and Madeline Frieze; and dear brother of the late Philip Frieze and David Frieze.
