MEXICO — Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice is again offering the six-week exercise program called Moving Freely. Although designed for senior citizens, men and women of all ages are welcome to attend the classes.
Instructors Mitzi Sequoia and Gail Thompson will hold classes from 9 to 10 a.m. starting Monday, April 4. Sessions will be held Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Mexico Recreation Center gym on Recreation Drive.
The goal of Moving Freely is to help participants achieve and maintain vital, independent lives by incorporating movement into their daily routine. The exercises work to achieve a full range of movement in all body parts to develop flexibility, agility, coordination, balance and strength.
