Class supper

LIVERMORE FALLS — The Livermore Falls High School Class of 2011 will host a spaghetti dinner to raise funds for the Project Graduation trip. The dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jay.

The cost is $5 for senior citizens and children under 12 and $7 for others. Spaghetti, sauce, rolls, salad and drinks will be served.

Association to elect

FARMINGTON — The annual meeting of the Farmington Public Library Association will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at the Farmington Public Library.

The association will elect officers of the board of trustees and review reports of the librarian and children’s librarian.

Emily Floyd, longtime board member, will be honored at the meeting.

Community members interested in becoming corporators are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Cub cake auction

FARMINGTON — Cub Scout Pack 585 will hold the annual cake auction at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at the Elks Lodge, West Farmington. The cakes will be decorated with a prehistoric/dinosaur theme and the money raised will pay to send the boys to Fun Pack Weekend this summer.

Meeting on poultry

FARMINGTON — Franklin County Farm Bureau and the Farmington Farmers Union will host an informational meeting for anyone interested in learning more about raising poultry at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, at the Farmington Town Office.

Jason Harris from Blue Seal Feeds will discuss the dietary needs of poultry and Bob Neal of the Turkey Farm will talk about poultry production with an emphasis on turkeys. Mike Turner will provide information on breeds of poultry and housing requirements.
