AUBURN —The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer Beginner Microsoft Excel 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, April 5 to 26. Cost of $255 includes book and materials.

Microsoft Excel 2007 is a spreadsheet application used to create and format data and is an analytical tool assisting individuals and organizations to make better informed decisions.

The class is a beginner course for individuals who have not used Microsoft Excel 2007 or for those who require a refresher course on the basics of the software. The class will go into the development and use of spreadsheets for a variety of general applications. Participants will experience hands-on instruction in order to acquire the knowledge to prepare them for more advanced Excel functions and features.
