LEWISTON — L/A Arts’ Gallery 5 is seeking images for its first fine art photography contest and exhibit, “Through the Lens.”

Photographers, whether professional, amateur or student, must have a year-round or seasonal Maine address. They may enter one or more categories, with a maximum of four photo entries. Each photo may be entered in only one of four categories: black and white, color, computer composed and student.

There will be cash prizes as well as purchase awards.

Deadline for submission is midnight, April 24. Cost is $10 per photo or $35 for four photos. Student submissions are $5 per photo or four for $15. All pieces submitted must be available for sale.
