AUBURN — A story published on Page A4 on March 20 and a corresponding video of Oxford Hills School District students talking about their laptops should have noted they use 10-inch Acers, not the models that are part of the Maine Department of Education’s Maine Learning Technology Initiative. Also, state taxpayers spend $10 million a year for the MLTI laptops for grades seven and eight statewide, while MLTI laptops for participating high schools are paid through local school budgets.
