The Eco Kids program at the Norway Memorial Library concluded on March 24 with a presentation by Delsey Andrews, who was representing the “Trash Into Art” group from Norway. For a final activity, the children created a work of art that shows why recycling is important. The children created a large model of the earth, complete with the North Pole and animals that are being affected by climate change, all from recycled materials. Some of the children who participated are wearing penguin hats to represent the South Pole. In the background are Kimberly Brown and Andrews.
