FARMINGTON — A celebration took place Wednesday to mark Franklin Health Farmington Family Practice’s move into its new space in the Medical Arts Center. Staff provided tours for Franklin Memorial Hospital employees and guests.
The ground floor was renovated to house the family practice, previously located at 116 Franklin Ave. in Farmington. The new offices overlook the hospital’s Healing Garden.
The space maintains a design that’s efficient, effective, clean, keeps costs down and is one with nature, Gerald Cayer, vice president of Franklin Community Health Network, said to the hospital gathering.
The new space houses 16 patient exam rooms, offices, a lab, a conference room and staff space with large windows in the patient waiting room overlooking the garden.
Two new providers, Dr. Marvin Lee and Physician Assistant Linda Christensen, have recently joined practice providers Dr. Armand Auger, Dr. Bertrand Audette, PAs Kristine Sanden and David Huish.
