DIXFIELD — A meeting between the Board of Selectmen and Mike Rogers of Maine Revenue Services, originally scheduled Tuesday night, will be rescheduled, Town Manager Eugene Skibitsky said Wednesday.
The cancellation was due to unexpected circumstances.
The board had planned to hear about the impact of agreeing to Tax Increment Financing with Patriot Renewables LLC, Quincy, Mass., from the state tax viewpoint.
The wind energy company has proposed constructing up to 13 industrial wind turbines on the Colonel Holman Mountain ridge line. The project is in the early stages.
Last month, the board heard about the advantages of entering into a TIF from Eaton Peabody Group LLC consultant, Mathew Eddy.
