WILTON — Congressman Mike Michaud, ranking member of the Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Health, presented Korean War military service medals to Carl Seaward Jr. of Wilton recently.

Seaward, an Army veteran of the Korean War, received the following medals at a ceremony at Wilson Grange Hall, East Wilton: Presidential Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal with Bronze Service Star and United Nations Service Medal.

Michaud worked to secure the medals for Seaward, who never received them following his military service.
