LEWISTON — Robert B. Paladino, 74, a resident of Williams Street, Auburn died Wednesday, March 30, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with his family by his side following a short illness.

He was born in Lewiston, April 27, 1936, the son of Thomas and Katheryn (Jerrard) Paladino.

Bob was a strong, hard working man who raised eight children, whom he loved and adored. He was married to his wife, Judith the love of his life for 54 years, who passed away Jan. 26, 2010.

Besides his family, his passions were gardening, fishing, and cooking Sunday and holiday meals for his family. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include three sons, Daniel Paladino and his wife, JoAnn, of Turner, Joel Paladino and his companion, Rose Santos, of Bedford, Mass., and Robert B. Paladino II of Auburn; four daughters, Cathy Nolasco and her husband, Tom, of Reston, Va., Cynthia Paladino of Auburn, Susan Dostie and her fiance, Thom McCullough, of Alna and Julie Castro and her husband, James, of Bellevue, Neb.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was predeceased by one son, Steven Paladino in June 2001.
