AUBURN — Jeanne Bryant, 73, a resident of Richmond Hill Road in Livermore, died early Friday, April 1, at Hospice House of Androscoggin.
She was born Aug. 24, 1937, in Lewiston, the daughter of Clifton and Violet (McLaughlin) Richmond. Jeanne was a 1956 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On June 2, 1962, she married her husband of 48 years, Clarence Bryant. Jeanne was devoted to her family and spent her years caring for them.
She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. Jeanne took great pride in her garden and would bring her vegetables to town to sell. Jeanne enjoyed talking on the CB radio and went by the handle “Chubby.” She also loved fishing and you would often see her sitting at Barlett Pond casting out a line.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Bryant of Livermore; three daughters, Paula Bryant of Livermore, Pam Claypole and her husband, Tim, of Canton, Ga., and Pat deMeurers and her husband, Weldon, of Summerfield, Fla.; her son, Brian Bryant and his wife, Kellie, of West Chester, Ohio; seven grandchildren; her brother, Tom Richmond and his wife, Doreen, of Bass Harbor; sister, Ann Richmond of Portland; her sister-in-law, Donna Richmond of Turner; and special friends, Rick, Julia, Holden and Colin Parker.
She was predeceased by her brother, Floyd Richmond.
