FARMINGTON — Voters on Friday elected Jessica Berry and Dennis Pike to serve on the Board of Selectmen.

Newcomer Berry received 187 votes and Pike, a former selectman, got 185 votes.  Incumbent Selectman Nancy Porter got 121 votes.

A total of 282 votes were cast. Several people filled out absentee ballots Thursday in anticipation of the weather, Town Clerk Leanne Pinkham said. A total of 88 absentee ballots were cast.

Two RSU 9 school board directors, Claire Andrews and Robert Flick, were re-elected to their seats. Andrews got 225 votes and Flick received 220 votes. Neither was challenged.
