It seems to me that Gov. Paul LePage is looking for controversy. The removal of the art depicting the various times when industrialists went overboard is a case in point.
If the governor was offended because he felt the art was one-sided, he could have avoided the controversy by commissioning artists to depict moments when industrialists provided jobs to the working class to the benefit of all concerned (the opening of new industries, etc.).
