It is sad that the stained-glass windows were removed from St. Patrick Church and sent to Japan. They should have stayed here in America.

Those stained-glass pieces were bought by the parishioners many years ago. In those days, their paychecks were very small and many made sacrifices so the church officials could purchase and place those beautiful stained-glass windows.

A few years ago, Monsignor Gleason was the pastor of St. Patrick Church, and had been for many years. He was very proud of that church, and of his parishioners. Every Sunday, he would greet the people at the door with a smile and wish them a “good morning.”

Father Caron, Prince of Peace Parish, should have been more cautious with those beautiful stained-glass windows. They shall be missed by many.
