AUBURN — Hazel E. Boutilier, 92, of Rangeley, passed peacefully Friday afternoon, with her family by her side at the Hospice House.
She was born March 19, 1919, the youngest child of Vincent and Estelle Mason. On June 27, 1936, she married Mondell C. Boutilier, and together they had four children. She was a fine homemaker and a nurturing mother. She loved her cat, Pixy, who passed April 2. Hazel will be remembered as a very sweet lady.
She is survived by three children, Ronald, of West Paris, Cheryl of Lisbon and Stephen of New York; a daughter-in-law, Edna of Rangeley; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband; all of her siblings; a son, James M. Boutilier; a granddaughter, Diane Boutilier; and a great-grandson, Shawn Skinner.
