Supper rescheduled
NORWAY — The three-pie supper, canceled because of the April 1 snowstorm, has been rescheduled to 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Second Congregational Church, UCC, 205 Main St.
The public is invited to the “Friday Family Feast.”Board games will be set up on tables and movies will be playing for children and teenagers. Those attending will vote on the official Maine dessert: whoopie pie or blueberry pie. Results will be sent to Augusta.
The cost will be $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under age 10. The menu will be pizza pie, whoopie pie, blueberry pie, vegetables/salad, juice and coffee. Proceeds will benefit the general fund.

AARP to meet
PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chapter, AARP, will meet on Monday, April 11, at the First Congregational Church, East Main Street, South Paris.
A macaroni and cheese dinner with ham will be served at noon. The cost is $6.50, and reservations are required by calling Ruth at 744-9069 by noon Friday, April 8.
The meeting will begin at 1 and members should bring items for the Extension’s gift bags for shut-ins. After the meeting, Percy Turner will give a presentation of the Littlefield murders.
Rummage sale
PARIS — The South Paris Universalist Church will hold its annual spring rummage sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 9, at 36 Pine St., just off Market Square. The church’s Good Cheer Hall will feature a collectibles table as well as clean second-hand household items and clothing at bargain prices.
The bag sale will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Large plastic bags will cost $1 each, which the patrons will be able to fill.
Seniors to meet
BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, at the Roosters Roadhouse for a turkey dinner and meeting. The cost is $10. Norma Salway will be the speaker.
