LEWISTON — Claire B. Landry, 78, formerly of 1048 Sabattus St., Lewiston died Monday, April 4, with her family by her side, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion, following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston, Oct. 5, 1932, the daughter of Leo Bisson of Canada, and Marie Ann Bolduc of Lewiston. Claire was a 1948 graduate of the Jordan School.

She was employed 17 years at the former Lown Shoe and for 24 years at Pioneer Plastics. She was married to Conrad P. Boisvert on Dec. 27, 1959, and they had three children together. She was married to the love of her life and soul mate, Gerry Landry, until his passing in 1998. Together they traveled all over the United States and spent time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Holy Cross Church, the Eagles, Midtown and the Derby Athletic Clubs for years. She loved traveling all over the United States and also loved to play Beano at American Legion Post 3.

Claire loved also to do anything she could for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Constance Levesque and her husband, Roland, of Lewiston; a son, Ronald Boisvert and his wife, Lisa, of Lewiston; another daughter, Debra Elliott of Auburn; seven grandchildren, Tiffany and Mason Boisvert, Jamie Bowker, Jennifer Clarke, Nicole Bingelis, Karyn Levesque and Josh Elliott; as well as five great-grandchildren.
