DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Police Department responded to 30 calls during the past week, including the following:

Accidents

Lindsy Crutchfield, 15, of Carthage, was driving a 2002 Toyota pickup north on Route 142 at 5 p.m., April 4, when the vehicle hit a patch of ice and snow. The truck crossed the southbound lane and slid off the road, destroying the vehicle. Neither Lindsy, nor her father, David, were injured.

Theodore Flagg, 51, Carthage, hit a moose as he was driving east on Route 2 at 5 a.m., April 1. His 2002 Chevrolet pickup sustained $2,500 damage. The moose ran into the woods.

Arrest

Shawn Kelley, 52, of Livermore Falls, operating under the influence, at 6 p.m., March 31, on Weld Street. A blood test was conducted at Rumford Hospital. He was then taken to the Oxford County jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail. The court date is not known.
