DURHAM — Slippery road conditions were blamed for an early morning crash on Route 136 on Wednesday.

Keith Johnson, 65, of Lewiston was driving south on Route 136 when his car skidded on black ice near the Reed Road intersection, went off the left shoulder and rolled, Androscoggin County Deputy Sheriff Craig MacMillan said.

Neither Johnson nor his passenger were injured, MacMillan said. His 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was demolished in the 5 a.m. crash.
