CAMDEN, Maine (AP) — Police in Maine are investigating injuries to a man and woman rescued from Mount Megunticook in Camden Hills State Park.
Police say the episode unfolded Thursday when a woman with serious injuries managed to make it down the mountain, where she was spotted by a passer-by who called police.
That led to a search for a man, who was found on the mountain Thursday evening.
Camden Police Chief Randy Gagne tells the Bangor Daily News that an investigation is under way. He says law enforcement officials aren’t sure whether a crime was committed.
