LEWISTON — Ronald Turcotte, son of Phillip and Anna Turcotte, went to fly with the Angels on April 7, after a courageous, heroic battle with lymphoma cancer with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Lewiston, Sept. 20, 1940. On Sept. 19, 1964, he married the love of his life, Ellen Austin-Turcotte. He received his diploma in 1972 at Lewiston High School.
He was a dedicated employee of Redlon and Johnson (Hall and Knight Hardware) for the past 39 years.
In his younger years, he served 8 years in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed spending as much time with his family as possible at the beach and outside. Also his pets, Pee-Wee and Miss Kitty.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years; his children, Robin and husband, Gene, Rochelle and Charles, Ronda and fiance, Bob, Amy and Arvell, Robert and Brandy and Alicia and Tyler; grandchildren, Phylisha, Jolyne, Keisha, Brett, Damyon, Aaron, Rakeem, Madison, Tristen and Rylie; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Xavier and Kasen; his brothers, Larry, Dennis and Norman and his in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents in 1984.
