AUBURN — The wedding of Emmalie Rossell Fellows and Jakob George Paul Guy was held at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 1 at the East Auburn Baptist Church. The Rev. Phil Andrukaitis officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Guy is the daughter of Paul and Deborah Fellows of West Gardiner. Mr. Guy is the son of John and Amanda Guy of Auburn.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Melissa Bailey, best friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Fellows and Dorothy Fellows, sisters of the bride, and Laura Hansen and Hannah Veit, friends of the bride. Ziva Bailey, daughter of the matron of honor, was flower girl.

Serving as best man for his best friend was Timothy Sewall. Ushers were Jonathan Guy, brother of the bridegroom, Alex Oakes and Ethan Foss, friends of the bridegroom, and Timothy Fellows, brother of the bride.

A reception followed at the church, after which the couple traveled to the Von Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vt. They are residing in South Portland.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of North Atlantic Regional High School and is currently attending New England Bible College in South Portland. She is employed at the South Portland Nursing Home.

The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Edward Little High School and is currently attending New England Bible College in South Portland. He is youth director at the First Baptist Church of South Portland and is also employed at Home Depot in South Portland.
