LEWISTON — Bethany Marie (Bernard) Coston, 19, of Lewiston died Saturday, April 9, at Central Maine Medical Center suddenly after a long and courageous battle with cystic fibrosis.

Born in Hyannis, Mass., on Oct. 3, 1991, the daughter of William Packer and Kimberly Ann (Bernard) Calabrese, Bethany loved art, especially drawing. She loved to travel to the Cape to visit family and friends. She loved her cats, Siba, Bella, Princess and Lunchable.

She was a very courageous fighter of her lifelong disease. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

On Dec. 11, 2010, she married Shane Coston Jr. of Lewiston, who survives her. She also leaves her father of Concord, N.H.; her mother of Lewiston; her stepfather, John of Lewiston; one brother, Shawn Calabrese of Lewiston; one sister, Pvt. Samantha Calabrese of Fort Jackson, S.C.; her maternal grandparents, Everett and Claudette Bernard of Lewiston; paternal grandparents, William and Sheryl Packer of Osterville, Mass.; father-in-law, Shane Coston Sr. of Lewiston; step-grandfather, Louis Calabrese of West Yarmouth, Mass.; godparents, Aunt Jodi Thompson and Uncle Danny Bernard; several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.

She was predeceased by her Aunt Lorie Woodard; and paternal great-grandfather, Ireton Bradshaw.
