WINSLOW — Raymond A. Wright, 55, a resident of Winslow, was found Sunday, April 3, at his home unexpectedly.
He was born Sept. 25, 1955, in Farmington, the son of Harold and Janet (LaFreniere) Wright. He attended schools in Wilton, graduated from Mt. Blue High School and took business management classes at both CMVTI and EMVTI.
He was employed at Kmart for many years in management and later was employed as a car salesman at DNK until his passing. He was a devoted son, brother and uncle who enjoyed being with his family and friends and going to camp. He especially had fond times with his mom. He brought special meaning to her life and many others. He had a cat named Nuisance, who was a constant companion and went everywhere with him.
He is survived by his mother, Janet Wright, of Wilton; two sisters, Debora Thoma and her fiance, Greg Hodge, of Auburn and Cindy Haun and her fiance, Larry Berry, of Hartford; a stepson, Chris Bragg of Augusta; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Harold A. Wright; and grandparents, Mabel and Romie LaFreniere and Edna and Leroy Wright.
