AUBURN — The Central Maine Community College Education Foundation will hold its fourth annual dinner Wednesday, April 20, at the Hilton Garden Inn/Auburn Riverwatch.

“This year’s dinner promises to be another memorable event at which time we will honor the accomplishments and contributions of students, faculty, staff and community supporters,” said Roger Philippon, dean of planning and public affairs at the college. “In addition, we will feature some new elements that should really enhance the program.”

The annual dinner is also a major fundraiser for the foundation’s scholarship fund.

Anyone interested in more information about the annual dinner is asked to call Philippon at 755-5357 or email [email protected]. Information is also available online at www.cmcc.edu.

The mission of the foundation is to provide financial support to the college and its students; to advocate on behalf of the college; and to nurture relationships with the community and constituencies. It is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of prominent business and community leaders. Members of the foundation board also serve as the college’s Education Advisory Council, providing a forum for matters that have a broad impact on the college.
