LEWISTON — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing at Central Maine Medical Center is offering a free five-week workshop for children and teens with talent or craving the spotlight.

“Kids Who Care: Cancer Variety Show” will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning April 19, at CMMC, 12 High St. Conference rooms will vary between H and I.

The variety show, featuring individual and group performances, will be held during the eighth and final meeting on Tuesday, May 17. Family and friends are invited to attend. Donations received will benefit the center’s Healing Tree Children’s Program supply fund.
