DEAR SUN SPOTS: Recently I have been told about slow-feeding hay nets to feed my horses with. It is supposed to be more like grazing for them and less waste, hence keeping my feeding costs down as well. I would like to make my own.

I am looking for anyone who may have an old hockey net that is of no use to them that wouldn’t mind donating them to me. I need at least six. My horses and I thank you in advance for any help. — Athena, piggytoes@megalink.net, 577-4186

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am looking for some help. I had a wonderful hairdresser at Walmart, Carl. Unfortunately he is no longer there, and they tell me they do not know where he is either. I am hoping one of your readers may know where he may be working now. Or possibly Carl may see this and post an ad in the newspaper regarding his new location. I desperately need a haircut. — djfjdf@aol.com

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am hoping someone can help me. I am looking for either a copy of McCalls Quick Quilts May 2009 or a copy of the pattern of the quilt “Dressed to the Nines” inside this magazine. Please call me at 754-4231 after 4 p.m. Thank you. — No Name, Wales

DEAR SUN SPOTS: About three years ago, I had a lady wash my floors. She did a wonderful job. I don’t know her name or phone number. I think she was either a divorcee or widow with children and lived in Greene. At the time she charged $20 an hour. I have had others since, but they are overpriced. I hope you can help me. — No Name, Lewiston
