SABATTUS — The Community Baptist Church, Main Street, will hold an Olympian FASCAR event on Saturday, March 23. This event is free and open to all ages.
Participants may bring up to six Matchbox or Hot Wheel type cars. Pre-race trials will start at 1 p.m., with the races starting at 1:30 p.m. Each person will be able to race one car, so come to the pre-race trials to find the fastest one.
Refreshments will be served and trophies awarded in each age category. The awards ceremony will start at 3:30 p.m.
The race will be held across the street from the church on the second floor of the old town hall building. Vintage and other cars will be on display in the parking lot.
