FARMINGTON — Nyla, the pet of the week at Franklin County Animal Shelter, is a loving lady with tons of personality. Her two different colored eyes are only part of her charms. She would love to lounge on someone’s lap and soak in the warmth of a friendly sunbeam. Although Nyla is a wonderful cat, she doesn’t like to share her people. She would prefer a home that would just dote on her and not another cat. If you are looking for a breathtaking kitty, Nyla would be the purr-fect companion to melt your heart this spring.

All cats at the shelter have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, treated for worms, tested for Felv/FIV, treated for fleas, and if necessary been treated for earmites. All cats have an adoption fee of $75.

New dogs at the shelter include a husky mix from New Portland, a husky mix from Jay and a pit mix from Jay.
