LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay-Livermore Falls Seniors met at April 18 at Murray Hall with 34 members and guest Joline Pratt present.

An Easter meal was served with members bringing in the fixings for finger rolls. Peter Cottontail brought gifts for the attendees.

Following the meal, Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for all the departed members and for the men and women serving in the U.S. armed forces.

It was reported Shirley Toncer is on the sick list. The 50/50 was won by Aurelien Couture. Door prizes, including two Easter baskets donated by Francis Therrien, Jean Pomerleau and another gift donated by Ellie Mitchell were won by Marguerite Slovak, Marilyn DeSoto and Fernande Doiron.

The club will meet April 25 at 1 p.m. at Murray Hall with Carole Redman and Carmen Moreau serving refreshments. Anyone in the area who is age 55 or older is welcome to attend.
