RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Norman L. Theriault was celebrated Wednesday morning at St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Phil Tracy as celebrant. The altar assistant was George Gionet and the organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections were “Hosea,” “Because the Lord is My Shepherd,” “How Lovely is Your Dwelling,” and “On Eagle’s Wings.”

Readings were given by his granddaughters Natalie Theriault and Emily Conroy. The eulogy was given by his son, Peter Theriault. Presenting the gifts were his granddaughter, Lyndsie Theriault, and sister-in-law, Rose Osborn. A reception followed the Mass downstairs in the parish hall of the church. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
