POLAND — The president of the American Association of School Libraries will visit Poland Community School on Monday, May 16, from 9 to 11 a.m.

The school is Nancy Everhart’s one Maine stop on her nationwide Vision Tour showcasing exemplary school libraries. Poland Community School was chosen because of its outstanding school library program.

A number of special, local guests have also been invited to take part in the event, which will start with a schoolwide assembly at 9 a.m.

Poland Community School is located at 1250 Maine St.
