AUBURN — Renowned cryptozoologist Loren Coleman will discuss which mysterious creatures he thinks modern science might still uncover, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, at the Auburn Public Library. Coleman has spent much of his life traveling the globe searching for legendary animals and assessing the various types of evidence for their existence.

Coleman is the founder of the International Cryptozoology Museum in South Portland and the author of several books. These include “Bigfoot! The True Story of Apes in America,” “Cryptozoology A to Z” and “Mysterious America: The Ultimate Guide to the Nation’s Weirdest Wonders.” Copies of his books will be available for signing and purchase.

This free program will take place in the library’s Androscoggin Community Room. Teens and adults are welcome to attend. For more information, call the reference desk at 333-6640, ext. 4.
