The five-mile course extends through the Bates College area of Lewiston and shorter walk routes are available for those who prefer. Thanks to the generous donations of local businesses, light refreshments will be provided to everyone participating in the walk; refreshment will also be provided throughout the walk route. All walkers are eligible to win door prizes donated by local businesses. The walk will also have raffle prizes that include a night’s getaway at local hotels, many local restaurant gift certificates and other great prizes donated by the community. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the walk and the drawing for the prizes will be held immediately following the conclusion of the walk.
