PARIS — Interested in vampires, the ultimate bad boys of literature, and their fellow paranormal denizens? What series do you want your teen reading? What author do you want your spouse to read?

The Paris Public Library is hosting a group discussion about the paranormal romance genre from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. Facilitated by Tammy Dignan and Sarah Wilson, participants will share their favorite authors and series, discussing the pros and cons of the different realms the writers have created. Paranormal romance is among the fastest growing genres in literature, where real life intersects with fantasy, and magic, psychic abilities and supernatural creatures are commonplace.

Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact the Paris Public Library at 743-6994 or paris.public.library@MSLN.net. “Like” the Paris Public Library on Facebook to receive updates on library activities and news.
