The Jesus Party Urban Youth Outreach and the Salvation Army of Lewiston will acknowledge the 60th annual National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 5, at Jesus Party Headquarters, 291 Bates St., Lewiston. The two inner-city ministries will join millions of people who will unite in prayer at thousands of events from coast to coast. The theme is “A Might Fortress is Our God.” The prayer meeting will start at 6 p.m. and last for one hour. Lieutenant Jason Brake from the Salvation Army in Lewiston will give a teaching on the importance of prayer. Music will be provided by the  Jesus Party Glory Bound Singers.
