Joshua Phillip Smith, 18, son of Lori Smith, attained the rank of Eagle Scout on April 16. He is in Troop 546 in Temple and sponsored by the Temple Fire Department. His service project was building shelves for the Clearwater Food Pantry in Industry and raising money for a sign purchased from Sign Works in Farmington. Joshua is a senior at Mt. Blue High School in Farmington. He completed one year at Foster Technical program in carpentry and is completing the welding program at Foster Tech. He is preparing for his black belt in Tae Kwon Do and plans to further his education in welding.
