Excelsior Grange

POLAND — Excelsior Grange will have an open house Saturday, May 7, starting with a luncheon at 6 p.m. at the Grange Hall on Harris Hill Road.

Following the luncheon, Walter Boomsma from the Maine State Grange will speak briefly about the value of Grange membership. The Winsome Souls Quartet will then perform to complete the night’s program.

All are invited to attend and there is no admission charge. For more information call 998-2301. The Grange Hall is now handicap accessible.

Cribbage results

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on April 28 were as follows.

This concludes league play until Thursday, Sept. 1. Nonleague play will continue throughout the summer, every Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Multi-Purpose Center.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on May 1 were as follows.

Yoga workshop

AUBURN — The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA is offering a yoga workshop for runners/walkers from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 9. Registration is currently ongoing and is limited to 25 participants.

This workshop is designed to help correct the imbalances that can be exacerbated by running/walking. We will work on creating suppleness of muscles and an increased range of motion within the joints. This is for runners/walkers of all levels who want to increase their flexibility, core strength and balance. No prior yoga experience is needed. Cost for the workshop is $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers. Stop by the Y to register at 62 Turner St., or members can register online at www.alymca.org.
