RUMFORD — Funeral services for Ruth M. Karpen of Rumford were conducted Tuesday at the Meader and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Carol Stevens officiating. Music selections included “In the Garden,” “The Old Rugged Cross,” “The Rose” and “Ave Maria. Words of remembrance were given by her niece, Rebecca Collins. Interment was in the Demerritt Cemetery, West Peru. Committal services were conducted by Pastor Stevens. A reception followed the services at the VFW Hall on Waldo Street, Rumford.
