Craft, bake sale

RUMFORD — Memier’s Misfitz, a River Valley Relay For Life team, will be holding a Mother’s Day craft and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Marden’s. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.

Mothers service

RUMFORD — The Rumford Lodge of Elks #862 will be holding a special service honoring all mothers on Sunday, May 8.

Bring your moms or come and honor moms that are no longer able to join us. The service will start at 11 a.m. followed by a brunch. All moms eat for free while all others pay a small fee of $3.

Class of 1951

MEXICO — Stephens High School Class of 1951 will hold its luncheon at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at the River Valley Grill. For more information, call 364-8883.

Carey benefit

RUMFORD — A benefit will be held for Ellie Carey, who has been fighting cancer for more than seven years, on Friday, May 13, at the Rumford Eagles function hall. A spaghetti supper will be held from 5-7 p.m. and a dance from 8 p.m. to midnight. A Chinese auction, raffles and 50/50 will be held during the benefit. The cost of the supper will be $5 and donations will be accepted at the door for the dance. Music will be by Dan Richards.
