WHITEFIELD — Dennis Eugene Friel, 62, of Whitefield, died on April 29, at his home.

He was born on Jan. 30, 1949, in Portland, a son of Karl Clark and Arlene Mary (Foley) Friel.

Surviving are his mother, Arlene Mary (Foley) Friel; his wife, Charlotte (Baiguy) Friel; seven children, Donna Johnson, Samson Friel, Jennifer Friel, I am Friel, Elijah Friel, Rachel Friel and Rebekah Friel; a brother, Patrick Friel; three sisters, Maureen Friel, Kathy Perez and Peggy Robinson; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
