LEWISTON — The Lewiston Farmers’ Market and Barbecue is set for 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at St. Mary’s Nutrition Center of Maine, 208 Bates St.
There will be live music and a barbecue featuring local ingredients. Products from some of the favorite vendors from the monthly winter market, as well as new vendors joining in for the summer will be there.
Market-goers will also have the chance to win a Spring into Summer raffle basket filled with all the gear needed to help start the growing season off right, including seeds, seedlings, garden tools and more.
Beginning Sunday, June 19, The Lewiston Farmers’ Market will host three markets: Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bates Mill 5 complex; and the regular weekly Tuesday and Wednesday markets.
