An Auto Tech Towing crew reels in a 1997 Ford Explorer that collided with a 2008 Grand Prix driven by Wesley Mason, 20, of Rumford on Hancock Street on Saturday, Rumford police Detective Sgt. James Bernard said. No one was injured. The Ford, driven by Cheryl Gurney, 47, of Rumford, which lost its drivetrain and sustained damage estimated at $2,500, Bernard said. The Grand Prix, owned by Mason’s mother, Pamela Bean, sustained an estimated $3,500 in damage to its front end.
