LEWISTON — Sharon D. Kalinowski, 59, a resident of Beaulieu Heights in Turner, passed away Sunday, May 8, at Central Maine Medical Center, where she had been a patient for the past three weeks.

She was born Sept. 10, 1951, in Ogunquit, the daughter of Fredrick Libby Davis and Carolyn (Hanscom) Davis. Sharon was a graduate of Wells High School and continued her education in the nursing field graduating from N.H. Vocational Technical College in 1971 as a LPN.

On May 1, 1971, in North Berwick, she married her husband of 40 years, Robert Kalinowski of West Rutland, Vt. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Christmas Tree Shops in Warwick, R.I. She enjoyed crafts and baking. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother devoting her time to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Kalinowski of Turner; her daughter, Robyn Formanek and her husband, Frank, of Colchester, Conn.; her son, Robert Kalinowski Jr. of Middletown, Conn.; three granddaughters, Taryn, Carsyn and Kailyn Formanek; her sister, Sandra Fletcher of Auburn; and her nephew, Christopher Fletcher of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her parents.
