Auburn police Officer Chris Hetfield, left, and Lt. Scott Pray of the Auburn Fire Department examine a vehicle that ran over a woman during a dispute on Dunn Street in Auburn on Tuesday. A 22-year-old woman driving the vehicle was allegedly dragged from it by two women ages 17 and 18 while the car was backing up, police Lt. Anthony Harrington said. The vehicle ran over the woman before hitting a building. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor leg injuries and the two younger women were cited for assault and released, Harrington said. Police did not release the names of any of the women involved in the altercation Monday evening. The incident remained under investigation.
