NORWAY — The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital offers Brain Matters: What You Need to Know about Stroke, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17. The program will be held in the Harper Conference Center of the Ripley Medical Office Building at Stephens Memorial Hospital. There is no cost for the presentation.
Stroke nurse Georgann Dickey will be joined by SMH emergency department physician Rebecca Chagrasulis and PACE EMT Bob Hand to discuss stroke signs and symptoms. They will also talk about stroke risk, prevention and treatment.
