LEWISTON — Martha Bennett, 91, of Auburn, passed away May 3, at Central Maine Medical Center from complications with her heart.
Martha was born Sept. 26, 1919, in Colebrook, N.H., the daughter of Archie and Nora Bennett. She worked in several shoe shops in the area.
She is survived by one son, Peter Bennett, and his companion, Rita; one granddaughter, Stacy Bennett of Brunswick; great-granddaughter, SheaLynn, also of Brunswick; and several nieces and nephews.
